Haddow’s Argentinian Asado Feast

My good friend Nick Haddow was kind enough to invite me to his Argentinian Asado Meat Feast for my birthday this year. Joined by our good friend Benson Miller, Nick put on a spectacular meal – one of the best I have ever enjoyed. He had multiple fire and heat sources going and truly showcased his excellent culinary skills and put on one hell of a master class in cooking with fire. Inspired by Francis Mallmann, Nick has elevated the game of cooking meat on fire.

Nick’s menu consisted of bone in ribeye, flank steaks, whole new york, blood sausage, sweetbreads, shrimp a simple green salad, and homemade chimichurri. I love sweetbreads and I have never eaten any better than Nick’s!

It was on this evening that Nick and I realized we are both Hads!
