Antinori Winery – Rinuccio 1180 🍷

Arriving in style!

Fresh off our 2021 YPO Supercar trip, Carter and I kept our F488 Ferrari for a couple of extra days to tour the Italian countryside. A visit to Antinori was in order as it’s probably our favorite Italian winery, and we love Solaia, a super Tuscan—the blessed juice of Bacchus. The winery is one of the most amazing architectural buildings I have encountered, artfully designed with no straight lines, and nestled into the hillside, it virtually disappears in the surrounding vineyards. We were joined for lunch at Rinuccio 1180 by our friends Tripp and Amy Donneley.

We would have lunch at the amazing Rinuccio 1180 restaurant, Antinori’s onsite dining destination.

Fortunately, we would not suffer the agony of choice with today’s wines.

Not one, not two, but three great vigntages! I love the orange.

The interior of the winery is equally as beautiful as the exterior.

Treasure.
Tripp and Carter

Time to depart, sadly. By far my most expensive lunch ever.

Well, Carter got to drive, so he was not too sad.
Souvenir?

Next stop, Lucca. Vroom vroom.
