Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud ✿✿

During our Ireland 2023 trip, the Hadlands and Morgans planned it around Carter’s and Mitch’s birthdays. For Carter’s birthday dinner, he chose Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Dublin’s city center, located beside the 5-star Merrion Hotel. The cuisine is contemporary Irish with French classical roots, and it is acclaimed both nationally and internationally. – but of course, what else would Carter choose? 😂🤷‍♂

I have been to many fine restaurants in my 57 years. Many Michelin-starred ones in my portfolio, and some of the most elegant ones in Paris when I lived there from 1997 to 2000. I must say that Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud was one of the most elegant establishments to haute cuisine I have dined. Dublin, in general, has excellent food, from pubs to starred restaurants, such as this one.

I think Bill must have somehow picked up the tab for my son’s birthday dinner. Oops. I owe you one Bill 💚. This was a truly exceptional meal.
